How do we collect information from you?

We obtain information about you when you make a purchase, join eskandar club Loyalty Scheme using our data collection form, or sign up to our mailing list in store or over the phone or by email.

What type of information is being collected from you?

The personal information we collect might include your name, birthday, address, email address, and telephone number, and any emails, faxes, text or WhatsApp messages from or to yourself. Please note, when you purchase from us, we do not hold or store your credit/debit card information, it is collected at the point of sale by secure payment processor and is not stored on our system.

Our website (www.eskandar.com) is a non-transactional site. The only data collection is via Google Analytics and are the only non-essential Cookies that are present on our website. 

How is your information used?

Customer information / data is used with the consent of the customer, to send our seasonal catalogues, sale information and other ‘eskandar’ and ‘eskandar club’ marketing information. We may use your information for the following reasons; process payments on your orders, deliver product, notify you of changes to our services, send you communications that you have requested and that may be of interest to you. These may include information about new products, special events, offers and promotions from Eskandar Ltd. process your eskandar club Loyalty scheme application and send you information about the scheme, and gift cards and your rewards point’s statements.

The accuracy of your information is important to us. Storage Period

Customer data will be stored for a period of three years starting from date of collection or from the last order placed by the customer (for example, a purchase in store or over the phone,  however, the opening of an email shall not be considered as customer-initiated contact).  At the end of this period of three years, eskandar will remove the customer data from all postal and email mailing lists and will only hold data that we need for as long as we believe it is necessary to fulfil our business purposes or to comply with applicable law, audit requirements, regulatory requests or orders from competent courts.
