Known only by his first name, Eskandar founded his eponymous label 30 years ago. Primarily knitwear and tailoring with a clear silhouette, the brand has been sold worldwide though major department stores and renowned specialty retailers, online platforms and its own retail chain of 6 stores across the US, UK and France in addition to concessions in London at Harrods and Liberty.

With an English mother and Persian father, Eskandar draws inspiration from different cultures to create unstudied pieces. His silhouette remains distinctive and has created a deep-seated loyalty with his customer base who value the timeless design, its wearability and quality.

Inspired by the cosmopolitan blend of cultures found across Europe and Asia, eskandar transcends trends in favour of silhouettes inspired by function and tradition and for all occasions. Building on layers that can be removed or added as temperatures fluctuate, the collection offers a range of easy-to-wear tunics, cashmere knits, relaxed trousers and silk shirts using only natural and noble fabrics.
